Neon Overdrive

Neon Overdrive is pure arcade racing joy. Forget simulation physics; this is about holding a drift through a neon tunnel and nailing the boost at the exit. The sense of speed is genuinely great on a phone.

You steer with tilt or on-screen buttons, and both work surprisingly well. Cars handle differently enough that upgrading and tuning actually changes your racing line. The soundtrack alone kept me coming back.

It's not deep, and the career mode repeats itself after a while, but for ten-minute adrenaline hits it's hard to beat. Great to keep on the home screen.
