Emberfall Chronicles

Emberfall Chronicles is the kind of mobile RPG you don't expect to find on a phone. You lead a party of four through a crumbling kingdom, making dialogue choices that genuinely change which allies stick around. I replayed the second act twice just to see a different ending.

Combat is turn-based and leans into positioning. Where you stand matters, elemental weaknesses matter, and the boss fights ask you to actually read what the enemy is doing. Leveling feels earned rather than handed out.

The writing is a cut above most of the genre. Side characters have arcs, towns remember your choices, and there's a surprising amount of optional lore for people who like reading. If you want a proper RPG for long commutes, this is it.
